Content Question: How can I figure out meanings of words by knowing what the affixes mean?

READ small group assigned literature text 

EXIT On a Post-it, create a new using what you know about affixes and write the definition. (Ex. postaco= after I ate a taco.)  OR, if continuing with session 2: ask each student to anonymously write on a sticky note a word from any of the prefix charts whose definition they are uncertain of. Explain that this will help you to narrow down the focus for the next activity.
